If you’re a marketer, SEO professional, or small business owner looking for an easier way to create client-ready SEO and marketing reports, SplashDash was built for you. In just a few clicks, you can log in, choose a report type, and instantly get data-rich visuals and AI-powered insights — no integrations or technical setup required.

In this post, we’ll walk you through how to get started with SplashDash, plus share best practices for getting the most accurate and impactful reports possible.

Step 1: Log In

Visit https://app.splashdash.com/ and click on the sign-in option. Or visit the direct login link. If you do not yet have a SplashDash account, please visit the sign up link and create a free or paid account.

Step 2: Explore Report Types

SplashDash offers a range of pre-built report types designed for marketing agencies and local SEO specialists, including:

The best part? Every report comes with built-in integrations from trusted data sources like Ahrefs,  Moz,  Google Search, and  U.S. Census — so you don’t need to connect extra accounts or tools.

Step 3: Choose a Report and Add Client Details

Click on the report type you want to run. You’ll be prompted to enter:

  • Business Name – Exactly as it appears on the client’s Google Business Profile.
  • Website URL – Use a live, accurate domain.
  • Location – City, state, or ZIP code to ensure localized accuracy.

Best Practice: Precise inputs mean cleaner, more relevant results. Double-check spelling and URLs before submitting.

Step 4: Generate Your Report

Once you click Submit, SplashDash builds your report in seconds. You’ll be able to review:

  • Interactive charts, graphs, and tables
  • AI-generated summaries that are easy for clients to understand
  • Key recommendations to help guide strategy

Step 5: Share the Report

When your report is ready, you can make it public with a single click:

  1. Click Share.
  2. Toggle from Private to Public.
  3. Copy the link and send it to your client or team.

Public links stay active until you delete them — perfect for sales presentations or monthly reporting.

Step 6: Rerun or Review Past Reports

  • Need an update? Just hit Rerun to refresh the data instantly.

  • Looking for an older report? Go to the Reports tab, then search or filter by client name, date, or report type.

(Optional) Enable Darkmode

Prefer a darker interface? Toggle Dark Mode in your profile settings (bottom left of the dashboard).

SplashDash Best Practices

  • Lead with the AI Summary: Clients respond better to clear takeaways before diving into detailed charts.
  • Combine Reports for Impact: For pitches, stack multiple report types into one presentation.
  • Use for Both Sales & Retention: Run a quick AI Visibility Report (or other reports) for prospects, and monthly performance reports for existing clients.
  • Stay Consistent: Running the same report each month helps clients track progress over time.
  • Do I need to connect any third-party accounts to use SplashDash?

No. All reports use built-in integrations with trusted data sources like Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search data, and U.S. Census — no extra setup required.

  • How accurate is the data in SplashDash reports?

Our data comes from enterprise-grade APIs and is refreshed regularly. For best accuracy, always use an active domain and the exact business name from the Google Business Profile.

  • Can I white-label reports for my clients?

Coming soon. You will be able to remove SplashDash branding and add your own logo/colors with our white-label settings (available on Paid plans).

  • How often should I rerun a report?

For sales prospects, run reports before every pitch. For active clients, monthly or quarterly reruns are common to show progress over time.

  • Will my public share links expire?

Public links remain active until you turn them back to private or delete your account with SplashDash. If you downgrade to the free plan, your public links will remain available.

  • Does SplashDash work for international businesses?

Currently as of 2025, SplashDash focuses on U.S.-based data sources. International support is planned for future releases.
